Healthy Kids Day event is designed to provide kids more opportunities to stay active and grow…In spirit, mind and body. This is a free event for the public. Healthy Kids Day is filled with the potential for growth, achievement, fitness and fun!
The Salina Family YMCA and Tony’s Pizza Events Center is holding a free community event to inspire more kids to keep their minds and bodies active. YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day® , the Y’s national initiative to improve families’ health and well-being, features games, healthy food displays, arts and crafts and more to motivate and teach families how to develop a healthy routine at home.
One in three U.S. children is obese. Research shows that without access to physical and learning activities, kids fall behind academically and gain weight. YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day will help parents begin thinking early about what their kids need to grow and achieve.
This is a free event to the public and we invite companies to come a participate with either an activity station or a healthy food booth All of our vendors are listed on our website and our facebook event page for Healthy Kids Day.
